Re-boot camp: CLIL & global education course for teachers

Should schools prepare students for the future, they should prioritize teaching sustainability, critical thinking, and empathy. This is especially important given the dangers of climate change, populism, and hoaxes in the context of the world we inhabit. These important components are the key topics of this course for teachers.

FAQ

What is CLIL?

CLIL combines the methodologies of teaching a subject and teaching a foreign language, which creates a rich learning experience and adds value to learning processes. The subject provides meaningful content for language learning - learning this content through a second language extends the scope of research opportunities, resources, cooperation, mobility, and exposure to different points of view. CLIL puts subject learning into a global, international context while emphasizing the local.

Will I need to pay for course materials?

Rest assured that you won’t incur any additional fees for study materials. The school will provide all the necessary materials for the course.

Are there going to be any evening activities?

Indeed, we have planned several evening activities for the participants of the course. At The Bridge, we value the opportunity to network and learn from peers, and we believe that the Erasmus+ programme facilitates this. Therefore, we offer a variety of optional late afternoon and evening activities for our participants, including yoga sessions, visits to art galleries and museums, wine tasting, and more. Please note that the availability of extra-curricular activities may be subject to weather conditions and the number of participants.
